Treaty Acknowledgement: The UWinnipeg campus is located in Treaty 1 territory, and the land on which we will gather is the traditional territory of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
As part of the long-time WILU tradition, we have arranged five dine-around options for you to meet up with fellow delegates and get a taste of local Winnipeg cuisine. All are scheduled May 23rd at 6:00 PM.
We’ve arranged several historic walking tours of the Winnipeg area for conference delegates; two tours featuring the Winnipeg General Strike, and one of the Université de Saint-Boniface. Space is limited, and all tours will run during the afternoon of Friday, May 24.
